ABOUT ME
I feel strongly that Design can be incredibly influential and persuasive, enabling it to be a force for positive change in the world. One of my goals is to get involved in some ethical and sustainable projects, to help make a difference some day.
With most of my projects I like to focus on empathising with the target audience. I like designs that are meaningful and can get a reaction from someone so that it's memorable.
Being able to potentially make a tired parent laugh after a long day, sparking excitement in someone for an upcoming event, or even just making someone feel relieved that something was so easy to read and gain information from, helps make my work feel rewarding.
I'm now looking to gain experience in a diverse role, where I can ask questions to more experienced designers and come across new creative challenges.

Hi, I'm Meabh; a multi-disciplinary Designer and Illustrator with a passion for creative problem solving.
My name can seem quite daunting to pronounce if for some reason you aren't fluent in Irish (neither am I). In Irish the 'b' and 'h' together make a 'v' sound. Clear as mud. When in doubt; it sounds like wave but with an M.
I love almost everything to do with Graphic Design and Illustration. Even when I've been
at my most stressed; shaky from too much coffee, too many late nights and delirious
from the latest creative block - I always think
I wouldn't want to be doing any other job.
Recently I've learned to appreciate that you never stop learning in the creative industry.
I like that this keeps the job interesting and allows you to make each project you work on fairly unique. Even multiple restrictions on projects sometimes gives you an opportunity to be creative in a different way and provide
a bit of a challenge.
